Attendance

The Mercury Mine Elementary School (MMES) school day is 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Mascot Club before-school care is offered from 6:30 to 8:25 a.m. and after-school care is offered from 3:15 to 6:00 p.m.

What If My Child Is Home Ill?

If your child is ill, be sure to call our 24-hour attendance line at (602) 449-3701 by 9:30 a.m. the morning of the absence. Any absence not called in will be considered a truancy. 

When calling in an absence, please state child's name, teacher, grade and reason for absence. At 9:45 a.m., the district's automated attendance system will begin calling and emailing to verify the absence.
